I was asked this week when I could tell people the current US president would go…’please bring us some good news’…one viewer implored. I replied that I had delivered important information in past readings that could point to reasons for cautious optimism for future US stability. My past predictions had included:
- Trump would not see out a full term
- He would fail miserably and one critical way would be economic failure which would turn most against him
- Some Republicans growing more uneasy due to backlash from their constituents, would push back against his more extreme and chaotic proposals
- Jesse Donald Vance, the VP lackey, would also fail and would never be able to hold the Maga base as Trump has. In short, when Trump goes, Maga fragments as a political movement
- Trump’s health is not robust and he is being treated with medication for an illness. The letters MVM are somehow important in this regard. He could face another more serious assassination attempt in March/April
- Opposition to Trump’s presidency grows with the economic downturn. No amount of spin or lies will protect him from this backlash.
- Elon Musk is in a downward spiral and likely to retreat from the political scene in the near future following huge monetary loss
- In 2026 the Democratic Party is likely to take the House back
- In 2028 an election will be held and a middle aged man, likely a businessman, will be elected. He inherits significant damage from the Trump years but does bring stability back to the US.
All these predictions have been made since November 7th 2024, and we are now seeing them play out. I cannot waive a magic wand and make Trump/Vance/Musk disappear but I can tell you that chaos and destruction are not sustainable and, in the end ‘as you sow, so shall you reap’. They will reap only destruction and failure if that is the course they are hellbent on pursuing.

Americans are generally patriotic, especially toward the military. I feel that messing with the VA and Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid is what will turn the vast amount of MAGAs from the president/Republican politics. That time is now. Tack on the abandonment of Ukraine and leaning toward Russia and Putin are fatal blows.
I hope your predictions about the Trump / Vance / Musk reign are true. I hope we, as a nation, can survive.
Maryann, Firstly your book is well written. You’ve laid out the path you had to take to get back to center. I am reading it chapter at a time. As I tend to read pretty fast. But your book has a message. For us to slow down. Take stock in our lives and those we cherish. Secondly, your predictions have played out as evergy and time permit if that makes sense. We all want this to just go away and leave us with normalcy but consciously we must endure the unfortunate unpleasantness.
Thirdly, I appreciate your calm and straightforward readings and view on the events taking place. Your energy is precious and we cannot take you for granted. We are responsible for our own emotions and thoughts and cannot expect a magic wand to wave it all away.

I thank you for your steadfast light through this perilous chaos. Not one of us here in the US should be leaning back and waiting for someone to rescue us. But what we need to all recognize is that every contribution makes a difference. So even folks who are not blessed to attend marches and protests can be making phone calls and writing letters (personal letters count for the most weight), or emails to your Congressmembers and Senators.
Republicans need to hear that you do not agree and why. Democrats need to hear that you want strong actions taken, and name Democrats whose actions you feel good about right now. This is one of those times when the People will in fact decide the future because we are the ones with the power of our numbers. They govern by our consent, and that consent must be seen to have been removed. They must fear the consequences of our wrath, not the other way around. This is our time. Not the first, and not the last. We must rise to our time.

Thank you for summarizing this for us, Maryann. It brings me comfort right now. I am trying hard not to get pulled into the negativity and fear, but I am 70 years old, and while I still work, I will be relying on Social Security some day and Medicare is already my healthcare. To add to the uncertainty, I live in Upstate New York on an Grand Island (between Buffalo and Niagara Falls) and we rely heavily on electricity from Canada. Threats to turn that off are disconcerting; however, I find myself rooting for Premier Ford in Ontario who at least has the gumption to stand up to this administration!

You are a beacon of light, hope and faith. Everyday I come across acts of pushback. As Democracy Docket has pointed out, it is different from 2016. Small disparate groups are popping up everywhere. With the large companies getting scared we see even more resistance. Trump is literally coming unglued. Apparently his talent for illusion is fading as you predicted. Trump’s talent for pissing more and more people off is “the greatest in the universe.” I feel a shift in energy. I am sadden by the vandalism and the hateful rhetoric but there was always going be some rage. Keep up the great work but do take care.
