The unconscious is greater than we know

A few months ago, I became conscious of Dr Sigmund Freud close by. It always works this way…I know there is a channeling to take place at some point in the future, and I wait for the energy to make itself known. Dr Freud was persistent and I feel this was his way in his earthly life.

It wasn’t always easy to channel his energy…it was intellectual and he was challenging, perceptive and piercing at times, particularly when he picked up the legacy of my childhood Catholic-guilt. Raised in the church until I was old enough to shrug off its punitive barriers and understand the truth of real spiritual connection, rather than being wedded to man-made dogma and rules, Dr Freud was able to see the imprint of this early conditioning.

That is how the channeling went. I felt he was mostly, two steps in front and I had to run to keep up, and it felt like he was psychoanalysing me some of the time. I could also feel the relationship he had with his earthly mother, and his dogged determination to satisfy his need to understand their relationship.

What struck me most of all, was Freud’s enlightenment around the vast reservoir of the unconscious. In his earthly lifetime he perceived it as linear…that it went only back to early childhood patterns. Even though he worked with dreams in his psychoanalysis, he speaks in this channeling of not going far enough. Here he provides us with a discovery that the unconscious, or ‘subconscious’, is endless, not linear, and is a vast resource for our use in our earthly lifetimes.

The question, after this channeling, was how to use it fully. My intuition tells me the answer lies in deep, spiritual connection. When we live a connected life, we are allowing a greater awareness to come forward to enrich our earthly lives.

Channeling Robin Williams

I titled this video ‘Healing with Humour’. I’m not sure why Robin Williams came forward as a potential channel but I suspect it has something to do with keeping your thoughts elevated…the connection between our thoughts and our wellbeing.

I don’t do many of these sessions as they are exhausting and I have significant family and professional commitments, but when I do, I wait patiently – clairvoyantly – for the right inspiration. In this case Robin Williams came forward with a message on life and death, learning and suffering, self responsibility and non judgement.

I hope you get something from this video? I know I did. I know that not everybody will as there is a strong message on the right to die with dignity. I know that after posting this on my Patreon channel, a few unsubscribed. So be it. I have been around suffering and dying a lot in these last few years. Most recently my sister transitioning after 6 years of battling stage 4 cancer. My dear Nan passed sadly with dementia.

As we know, Robin Williams took his own life after battling with Lewy Body Dementia. He knew his prognosis; he was realistic about the progression of the disease. This channel makes it clear, it was absolutely what he wanted.

Around 9 years ago, in another lifetime, I researched dementia, consulting widely with the medical specialists, the carers and the non government organisations set up to manage dementia, for a publication designed to inform on dementia. A stand out finding was the severity of Lewy Body, a particular dementia type. With it, you can expect a progressive decline in mental abilities. “People with Lewy body dementia may experience visual hallucinations and changes in alertness and attention. Other effects include Parkinson’s disease-like signs and symptoms such as rigid muscles, slow movement and tremors,” the Mayo Clinic advises. This channelling session makes it clear that Robin Williams knew what he would experience, and how he would deteriorate and eventually die. For such a gifted intellect, comedian and actor, he chose to die with dignity.

This channeling is not for those who don’t agree that we have the right, in the face of terminal disease and suffering, to die with dignity. It’s for those who are listening closely to what is said in this video…that we don’t have the right to judge the response to extreme suffering that is experienced with terminal disease. Rather listening and non-judgement are demanded.

Beyond this message, Robin Williams had plenty to say on a range of things. Tapping into his energetic vibrations was a joy.  Irrepressible is the word that comes to mind when I think of Robin Williams.

Channeling Nostradamus

I’m not entirely sure when the energetic vibration of Nostradamus presented itself but it did, including with the significance of rose petals which I later found out were quite important in the healing work of Nostradamus.

Most of us know this seer for his blindingly accurate predictions. Less is known about his healing work with plague victims. I found this channeling quite special because I learnt about Nostradamus the human being. He revealed a man with a deep love of family and of helping the poor who received little medical help throughout the epidemics of plague. Yet Nostradamus healed many through simple and effective hygienic regimes, and a commitment to help.

Prior to the channeling I did not know how Nostradamus saw the visions which formed the basis of his predictions but I saw a method later confirmed with my research post channeling. I’ll leave the video to speak for itself; and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did…learning about the compassionate and humanistic person that was Nostradamus. These same strengths allowed him to predict accurately, and perhaps to help humanity into the future.

Light orbs illuminate spirit connection

During my spiritual journey which began as a young girl understanding that I needed first to know myself before I could begin to know others, I have researched many esoteric concepts and beliefs. The one constant throughout the gathering of knowledge has been the real possibility of developing a deep connection to Spirit. Some of you know my back story; that in 2015 a very serious illness and prolonged rehabilitation further illuminated my spirituality. So many signs and guides were put in my path that it became impossible for me to continue to live the same life in the same way.

A dream one night which took me to what I thought of as the Afterlife and picking up my tarot again not long after, brought a rush of validation that my pathway was no longer my ‘orthodox’ and mainstream career, but lay instead in reconnecting with my clairvoyance and using my intuition in the everyday world. This profound realization has taken me back to myself and to abilities I had used in childhood but never fully understood, and so had they’d been relegated to the recesses to gather dust. I began Revealing Light Tarot in 2018 and have been pushed, no rushed forward, towards using as much of my psychic abilities as I currently know how to do. I say ‘currently’ because I believe we do not stop learning…ever.

Despite a wholehearted embrace of my spirituality and reconciliation with who I am and my purpose in this life, a lifetime’s analytical and sometimes skeptical thinking remains. In all my travels in this life up until last year – professional career person by day; esoteric explorer by night – I have never been able to fully accept that angels have the names we humans give them, that the most powerful and uttered of the ‘archangels’ appear to be male, and that those like the former angelic author and guru Doreen Virtue (who’s now rejected her early pioneering work for a brand of fire and brimstone Christianity), can channel ‘messages from the angels’. It all seemed a little…kitsch to be totally honest. However…

Around a fortnight ago I was doing a ‘reading’ upstairs in my bedroom for my Patreon viewers. I had decided to throw my tarot cards on the subject of whether or not angels exist. Immediately, as soon as I sat down, I was aware of rapid energy bursts around me in the room. Before I pressed the record button, I felt the light orbs behind me. This wasn’t the first time they’d appeared while I was reading in a video, but it was the first time they came en masse and coinciding with particular phrases. The phrase that seemed to resonate with particular orbs was the name of ‘Metatron’.

I won’t give away too much more of what occurred in this video. I’ll let you watch it for yourself. When you’re viewing, watch for light orbs at: 2:43, 16:25, 17:21 and 18:53. Let me know what you think.

Tuning into Nelson Mandela’s legacy

A few nights ago I tuned into the energetic vibration of former South African President, and freedom fighter, the late, beloved Nelson Mandela – known as Madiba which is ‘father’ in the language of the Xhosa clan (Mandela’s clan).

Like other freedom fighters of an impossible era, when apartheid and suppression were endemic across the ‘white’ world, in countries where colonisation had displaced Indigenous peoples, Madiba was one of the many lights that led the way…his brilliance transformational when you consider he was thrown into a jail for 27 years. Yet despite the bars, the loss of liberty, the cruelness, he had this to say when released: “As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn’t leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I’d still be in prison.”

Of all the wonderful legacies Madiba left us when he passed at 95 years; his inspirational words which were a reflection of his inner journey to real freedom, one stands out at this time for me. It is: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

I reflected on why that particular phrase resonated with me, and it is this…

Life as we know it serves us restriction; it dishes up all manner of painful situations, health issues, family dysfunction and a host of loss from the death of loved ones, career and jobs…and even identity. The inevitability of our own transition from this life to the next is felt as, perhaps, the biggest, most unchangeable loss…if you don’t understand one truth. There are always…always possibilities no matter what the situation.

I have been inspired by Madiba from the time I first heard his incredible story of courage. He was, and is, inspirational. Always the human being…a man who admitted his mistakes…those mistakes did not diminish or tarnish his legacy. When I tuned into his energetic vibration; to his story, his time, his legacy, I found inspiration again and reinforcement that whatever comes our way, and while we might flounder until we come to terms with our inevitability, “it always seems impossible until its done”.

The currency that rules survival

The chakras can illuminate how we feel as we interact within the world. The Root Chakra which is located at the base of the spine, relates to our feelings of trust and safety. Its characteristics include:

  • Survival in this earthly world
  • Physical identity and our sense of self
  • Our need for support and our interactions with those support systems
  • Our basic needs from food and shelter through to self preservation.

The Root Chakra is associated with the colour red. It keeps us grounded and, if it is balanced, living hopefully without fear in this world.

One of the characteristics associated with this chakra that is particularly compelling for me is its association with money. Afterall, money is the currency of our safety in this world; if we have enough, we feel safe. If we don’t have enough to pay our bills then feelings of financial insecurity dominate.

In tarot, the 4 of Pentacles is associated with this feeling of insecurity. This card will often come up when someone has been raised with not enough, or is undergoing financial difficulty, or is depending on someone else (a partner or family member) for help with the cost of living.

In my tarot chakra readings I can get a glimpse of the possible issues as they relate to the various chakras. The tarot can indicate the strengths and the weaknesses, combined with the focal point of a particular chakra. For example a 4 of Pentacles in the Root Chakra position indicates to me an insecurity or lack of trust in the world. The Ace of Swords appearing, or aligned with the Throat Chakra which focuses on communication, is indicative of someone who speaks their truth. A Queen of Cups (stability and support) in the Heart Chakra (love) can indicate a nurturer and a healer. Or alternatively the need for support.

Tarot provides insights and reflection and can be used to glean information in much the same way as psychic Reiki can. The chakras are the portals through which energy flows through our subtle or energetic body. Our health can be impacted by the vulnerabilities or weaknesses in these focal points. Insight through the tarot can identify potential blockages and ways forward.

Everything is energy, one way or another. Tarot can identify these unseen energetic influences that might be holding us back or, alternatively, those strengths we may not even be aware we hold within our energetic patterns.

What’s beyond this physical life?

Most of us can go through life not giving much thought to our mortality. We’re obsessed with the obvious; our career, our relationships, our finances and sometimes the petty squabbles that we allow to bleed through and disrupt our equilibrium. What comes next after this life is something we leave til the last minute. And who can blame us? We like to think we’re immortal, that we will go on forever and so when illness or the unexpected comes along, we are floored.

Yet death is inevitable.

There is a Latin funerary inscription I came across recently while visiting a touring exhibition on the Roman Empire, at the National Museum of Australia. I was taken so much with it that I photographed it on my iphone:

IMG-4696 (1)

What stood out for me was “…For death is the nature, not the punishment of humankind.” When I think about that, it makes sense; it’s in our nature to die a physical death but does our spirit continue? Everything that I’ve experienced through clairvoyance and mediumship tell me that there is life beyond an earthly existence. Whether we believe that or not, depends on faith. I don’t mean faith in a religious sense but faith in the unseen, what is not apparent but is nevertheless real.

There are many scientific studies on life after death…if you need the proof. Scientists have recently been revising 20 year old theories on consciousness, concluding that: “The quantum information within the micro-tubules is not destroyed, it can’t be destroyed, and it just distributes and dissipates to the universe at large….it’s possible that this quantum information [stores in can exist outside the body, perhaps indefinitely, as a soul.” You can read more about this study here.

From a metaphysical point of view, there are ways we can tune into what is known as the ‘Afterlife’. We can do this through the Clairs…clairvoyance and clairaudience for example, and we can do this through mediumship…all abilities that human beings can access, sometimes automatically and, at other times, with training. It would surprise you just how common seeing a loved one after they pass can be…certainly it’s been common for me and for nearly all the people I know.

But at the end of the day, it’s a matter of belief and, as we know, beliefs can be as hard as concrete or as fickle as inattention. However, if you put your attention on the spiritual, on noticing the truly magical that is around you, you begin to actually see the signs and the flow of all things. And if your brain tends towards the sciences examine one thing…the nature of energy. Energy is real. It can be felt, and there’s no reason to think our energy does not continue after our physical bodies die.

How do I know what I see is real?

One of the wonderful things about ‘reading’ for someone is the validation that often occurs after the reading.

Often when I begin a reading and tune into the client’s energy, I receive a series of pictures/images which allow me to bring forward my clairvoyance. These pictures guide me toward the central reason/s the client has requested the reading – often it is the core of the problem that, once acknowledged, can help initiate progress or provide insight and reflection. At other times I will ‘hear’ words and phrases (clairaudience). At times, I see these words and phrases written on a notepad.

Of late, I am reflecting emotions which provide an indication of the issue that might be causing a problem, for example, the need to express or release something that is troubling or has been bottled up.

For many years, I received these pictures and felt the feelings, and didn’t know what to do with them. Mostly I kept it to myself or tried to explain it to help someone, or correct something. It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent treatment that I strengthened my connection with spirit and understood, for the first time in my life, that I needed to use the gift I’d been given.

When my clients return with validation, I smile quietly to myself. I don’t linger on the good news as ego shouldn’t come into a connection with spirit. Rather, I try and remain humble and hope that the information I was privileged to impart; the guidance I hopefully provided, will be helpful.

I believe we all have these gifts, and that we know more than we realise. One of the ways to strengthen our intuition is to use it. So next time you’ve got that gut feeling, acknowledge it, use it and learn  to trust it.

Is Karma real?

Hello,

I started my YouTube channel Revealing Light Tarot to use the psychic gifts I was born with but had pushed to the background for most of my life. Instead I pursued a mainstream career, working as a media editor and, later, for the government and in consulting. Despite full and productive jobs, I always felt something was missing…it was. I wasn’t communicating directly enough with spirit.

In 2015, I was hit with the news I had cancer. Thankfully it was early stage but, nevertheless, treatment was harsh. Radiation, chemo, surgery and more chemo. It was during this time that my connection with spirit strengthened. In fact, it more than strengthened, it became supercharged. After that there was no going back. And so Revealing Light Tarot was born.

I got my first tarot deck when I was 23 years old…from an old shop tucked away on the outskirts of Kings Cross. My Aquarian deck was located in a disused part of the shop, gathering dust. I was drawn to the strange archetypes, knights and queens and, particularly, to the High Priestess. Over the years I read for family and friends…until cancer and the compelling need to live more spiritually and to use my gifts, rather than shy away from them or, more to the point, fear them.

I read recently on whether or not Karma is real. These messages are channeled quickly and through my Third Eye and Crown Chakra. The case is presented for our God given gift of manifestation, and for the practical and spiritual benefits of keeping the slate clean.

Here is a link to the file. What do you think? Is Karma real?
